Bluebonnets

Last Sunday after mass we hopped on our bikes and headed towards Kirkwood where there was a large patch of bluebonnets right off the Terry Hershey Trail. I had never done this "spring tradition" with Kyle, and decided this year would be a good year as the bluebonnets were in full bloom and very abundant as a result of the recent the rains we've had. Several families had the same idea as we saw lots of Kodak moments being captured.

The boys also had fun climbing this wall along the path. Kyle enjoyed jumping off with my assistance, and of course Ryan was one step behind Kyle!

That evening we enjoyed cocktails and dinner outside with the wonderful weather. After dinner, the boys enjoyed some more play time before heading inside.

Houston Rodeo: Round 2

On St. Patrick's Day, Aunt Kelly took Kyle to the rodeo with her friend and her son, Colin. The boys had fun playing together, and Kyle got another shot at the tractors and cars. Meanwhile at home, Ryan helped out in the yard. That morning, the boys enjoyed pancakes and bacon at their new table. We enjoyed the beautiful spring weather we've been having!

Houston Rodeo: Round 1

At the beginning of March, we headed to the rodeo with Gigi and the Brocks. The boys had a blast playing in the cars and on the tractors, and Nolan and Kyle had fun on the carnival rides.
